The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has officially inaugurated the newly constituted Board of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) at a brief but significant ceremony held in Accra.
The newly constituted board is chaired by Dr. Simon Naporo, an astute medical practitioner and seasoned administrator, widely respected for his leadership in managing health facilities across the country.
In his remarks, the Minister expressed confidence in the board's ability to provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the hospital continues to deliver quality healthcare services in the country.

The Health Minister charged the board to work collaboratively with hospital management and stakeholders to enhance healthcare delivery, promote innovation, and strengthen governance at the facility. The constitution and inauguration of the board is in line with the Ghana Health Service and Teaching Hospitals Act 525 of 1996 and (ACT 1009, 2019) as amended.
