Patients undergoing breast cancer treatment at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) have received support from Pink for Africa, a non-governmental organization committed to promoting breast cancer awareness and care.
Representing the organization, Madam Laizer Oforiwaa Owusu-Ansah presented a cheque for GHC 35,000 to assist in the treatment of selected patients. In addition to the financial support, Madam Owusu-Ansah also donated breast prostheses to the beneficiaries.
The Director of Medical Affairs, Prof. Alhassan Abdul-Mumin, on behalf of the CEO, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Pink for Africa for its continuous support to women battling breast cancer. Prof. Abdul-Mumin reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with Pink for Africa to enhance cancer care and improve outcomes for patients in Northern Region.
