Staff of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) have commended the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. (Med.) Abubakari Bawah Abdulai, for significant improvements in essential services and infrastructure across the facility. The hospital has seen marked progress in several key areas under his leadership.
Through the initiatives introduced by Dr. Bawah, TTH now enjoys stable water supply, an expanded oxygen delivery system, increased bed capacity at the Accident and Emergency Department, enhance lighting within the hospital, and the provision and installation of waste bins to enhance sanitation. Staff noted that these improvements have contributed to better service delivery and a more conducive environment for patient care.
In a speech read on his behalf at a staff durbar, the CEO reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery in the hospital. He urged staff to prioritize customer care and to listen attentively to the concerns of clients in order to maintain high standards of service.
The gathering concluded with rousing applause as staff praised the CEO for his efforts, particularly the improvements in water supply and sanitation, which they described as timely and transformational.
